A complete weather app first
Current conditions, feels-like, precipitation timing, humidity, wind and gusts, UV, sunrise and sunset, visibility, pressure, dew point, and dated forecasts work without adding anyone.
A quiet window onto different skies
See detailed weather for your own city without an account, then optionally view weather for approximate cities that another adult deliberately chooses to share.
Available now through Apple TestFlight. App Store launch is coming after beta validation. TestFlight purchases are free and never create a real charge.

Built for real life
Personal current conditions, dated hourly and five-day forecasts, city choice, own-weather widgets and share cards, three manual city cards, one consenting shared relationship, and every privacy control.
Current conditions, feels-like, precipitation timing, humidity, wind and gusts, UV, sunrise and sunset, visibility, pressure, dew point, and dated forecasts work without adding anyone.
Use contextual approximate location for personal weather or choose a fixed city that stays fixed until you change it.
A relationship can reveal only an approximate city another adult chose to share. WeatherKind does not provide maps, location history, movement tracking, presence, or wellbeing information.
Friend Widgets use a selected coarse city and short authorization lease. Their signed-device refresh and removal timing are active beta tests, not a completed reliability claim.
A closer look

One useful beta mission
Test personal weather first. If you test sharing or Friend Widgets, use a non-sensitive demonstration relationship and coarse city, then verify that pause, revoke, block, sign-out, and plan loss remove the shared information within fifteen minutes.
Which personal-weather detail, permission step, sharing control, stale state, or widget transition was unclear or behaved differently from what you expected?
If something fails, include your iPhone model, iOS version, exact steps, expected result, and what happened instead.
Privacy & support
The app is designed to be useful without a developer-operated account or advertising profile.
Personal weather works without an account or relationship. A fixed city and the current beta's manual board remain on your device.
When you choose Use My Location, WeatherKind requests contextual When In Use location, resolves it to an approximate city and region, and does not retain coordinates in the personal-weather record.
Optional sharing is directed and revocable. It is designed around an approximate city and region, separate city and weather timestamps, and no maps, trails, location history, movement, presence, wellbeing, or safety status.
Friend Widget projections contain a selected label, coarse city and weather freshness. Build 7's signed-device App Group, widget refresh, offline behavior, and fifteen-minute removal boundary remain under TestFlight validation.
The current beta uses labeled demonstration weather and local fixtures where live WeatherKit, warning delivery, Sign in with Apple, backend, StoreKit, or notification behavior is not operationally verified.
Support requests and TestFlight feedback are optional. Do not submit another person's name, city, precise location, invite value, account information, or an unredacted private screenshot.
The public beta is intended for U.S. adults, but WeatherKind does not perform identity or age verification.
Weather and shared-city information may be delayed, unavailable, stale, or wrong. WeatherKind does not confirm a person's location, presence, wellbeing, reachability, or safety and is not an emergency service.
