WeatherKind by Nash Apps is designed to work without a developer-operated account, advertising profile, or sale of personal information.

Information the developer collects

The developer does not operate an app account system and does not receive the records you enter into the app. The app does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

How the app handles information

Personal weather works without an account or relationship. A fixed city and the current beta's manual board remain on your device.

When you choose Use My Location, WeatherKind requests contextual When In Use location, resolves it to an approximate city and region, and does not retain coordinates in the personal-weather record.

Optional sharing is directed and revocable. It is designed around an approximate city and region, separate city and weather timestamps, and no maps, trails, location history, movement, presence, wellbeing, or safety status.

Friend Widget projections contain a selected label, coarse city and weather freshness. Build 7's signed-device App Group, widget refresh, offline behavior, and fifteen-minute removal boundary remain under TestFlight validation.

The current beta uses labeled demonstration weather and local fixtures where live WeatherKit, warning delivery, Sign in with Apple, backend, StoreKit, or notification behavior is not operationally verified.

Support requests and TestFlight feedback are optional. Do not submit another person's name, city, precise location, invite value, account information, or an unredacted private screenshot.

The public beta is intended for U.S. adults, but WeatherKind does not perform identity or age verification.

Optional Apple services and permissions

WeatherKind uses Apple TestFlight for beta access. The app contains optional StoreKit, Sign in with Apple, WeatherKit, location, notification, WidgetKit/App Group, and Nash Apps backend integration contracts, but Build 7 does not claim those production services are broadly operational or device-verified. TestFlight purchases do not create a real charge. The current beta's local aggregate counters exclude names, relationship labels, graph edges, account identifiers, cities, coordinates, weather, invite values, message text, and report reasons. If a beta path is unavailable or stale, it must fail closed rather than imply current presence or safety.

Support requests

The support request form is hosted by Google Forms. The reply email and other details you choose to submit are received and used only to understand and respond to your request. Google may process form data under its own privacy policy. A Google account shown to you by Google is not included in the response unless you type that address into the reply-email field. Do not include passwords, payment card details, health records, or other sensitive information.

Children, security, and changes

The apps are not directed to children under 13. Reasonable safeguards are used for the limited support information received, but no method of electronic storage is completely secure. Material policy changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.

Weather and shared-city information may be delayed, unavailable, stale, or wrong. WeatherKind does not confirm a person's location, presence, wellbeing, reachability, or safety and is not an emergency service.
